Oreck Air Purifiers
Lifetime air filters included
David Oreck knows about cleaning, thriving and surviving. He founded Oreck, maker of vacuum cleaners and other air care products – including air purifiers – in 1963. Since that time, he has built the company into a leading manufacturer of air care products, and its home office (right in New Orleans) even survived Hurricane Katrina, providing aid in the wake of that monumental disaster.
The Oreck XL features a five-stage cleaning process (virtually unheard of in any other air cleaning product). This includes a pre-filter, positive charging wires, an electronic collector cell (to collect charged particles), a charcoal absorber (to remove odors) and an Oreck air revitalizer that emits negative ions, which have been shown to be healthy for respiration and overall well-being.
Take a look at some of the Oreck products that will clean the air in your home:
The Oreck Refrigerator Freshener is a small battery-operated unit that sits inside your fridge.
The Oreck Professional Air Purifier features the five-stage air purification process and promises to trap allergens as small as 0.1 microns. Three speed settings and Oreck's patented Silence technology round out the features of this relatively modestly priced unit that retails for as low as $179.
The Oreck Super Air8 also features Oreck's five-stage cleaning system and is capable of replenishing the air in a room as large as 900 square feet. It retails for as much as $299, but it can be found for less if you shop around.
Oreck originality
Oreck specializes in low-cost air cleaning units (as opposed to HEPA filter systems and other high-end units). Oreck foregoes the “stick design” of other manufacturers, which Oreck claims is “ineffective.” Instead, Oreck's professional air purifiers move the air so that it is cleaned more effectively. In addition, Oreck builds filters designed to last the lifetime of the machine. The company's website also features customer interaction such as “I Love my Oreck” and instructions on how to “host an Oreck party.”
